Engineering

Hytube can provide specialist knowledge, experience and technical support to help you with your project.

Hydraulic Systems

Hytube can design customised hydraulic power units and complete systems to suit your industry and product. We can help provide solutions for new equipment requirements or modifications to existing machinery, including drives, actuators, seals, housings, valves, and manifolds.

Piping – Hydraulic, water, lubrication and cooling systems

Our team can provide initial sizing of piping, valves and equipment, defining pipe routes, identifying space requirements, supports and design considerations at the early stages of a project, through to the generation of models and integrating those into a Client’s master model (Navisworks). This not only provides accurate details for design reviews, but also prevents clashes with other services on site, which would otherwise lead to increased installation time and cost.

Structures and Mechanical

Hytube design mechanical structures to support equipment and actuator loading, and for mechanisms which operate via hydraulic actuators. Hytube can also design access platforms, support systems, brackets and connections for piping and equipment.

Capabilities include:

E

Design using Solidworks (3D). Models, assembly drawings and manufacturing drawings.

E

Design of Hydraulic Schematics using Draftsight (2D).

E

Design of bespoke hydraulic power units, systems, and equipment.

E

Welding of structural steel sections and plate.

E

Design of hydraulic and water piping systems. Selection of valves, pumps, drives and actuators.

E

Design of associated structures, components and brackets.

E

Integration of 3D generated model into Client (Navisworks) model.

E

Engineering calculations for hydraulics, sizing and selection of equipment, actuators and piping.

E

Verification to ensure piping systems are compliant with AS 4041 where specified by project requirements.

E

Engineering calculations and analysis (FEA) of associated mechanical structures and connections. Verification of structural strength and stability, including wind loading for cyclone regions where applicable.
